A synesthetic event for all senses, as homage to the great visionary composer Alexander Scriabin, on the occasion of his 150th anniversary (1872-2022).
Scriabin’s vision of a “Mysterium” (a 7 days performance in a spherical temple in India) remained unrealized at his time, but its echo has been very powerful till today, inspiring numerous creators of “total works of art” (among others: Karlheinz Stockhausen, La Monte Young, Charlemagne Palestine, Hermann Nitsch, Hans-Jürgen Syberberg).
“Happening” as a polyphony of simultaneous events, combining fin de siècle atmospheres and the anarchic art of the 1960’s (Fluxus etc.): sounds, words, images, movements, silences, lights, colours, smells.
During the three-hour performance the public is free to go in and out ad libitum, at one’s pleasure…
