Not least James Hillman taught us that it is the daimon that moves the threads of our path. Depending on how much one is willing to listen to him or not, the encounters one makes also depend on him. In any case, without the encounters with some ‘extraordinary men’, as the Armenian Gurdjieff put it, the idea of the theatrum phonosophicum could not have taken shape and seen the light. Based on story-telling and listening, we dedicate this meeting to the German artist Mary Bauermeister (1934-2023) who would have been 90 years old this year.

Non da ultimo James Hillman ci ha insegnato che è il daimon a muovere i fili del nostro cammino. A seconda di quanto si sia disposti a prestargli ascolto o meno, anche gli incontri che si fanno dipendono da lui. Ad ogni modo senza gli incontri con tanti “uomini straordinari”, per dirla con l’armeno Gurdjieff, l’idea del theatrum phonosophicum non avrebbe potuto prendere forma e vedere luce. Sulla base di racconti e ascolti, dedichiamo questo incontro all’artista tedesca Mary Bauermeister (1934-2023) che quest’anno avrebbe compiuto 90 anni.
